YES! YES! It's finally happening. Well, I guess it's not quite Half-Life 3 but Valve actually doing something games-related for a change. Also, Steam Link sounds awesome. Streaming games from my PC to TV is something I've been looking into recently and apparently it costs a ton (wireless HDMI is expensive). Might also want to try out the Steam controller, depending on some things.

Because according to kerotan, any game a console gamer wants to play will be on a console and steam machines are going to be a failure as a result.

God my opinions really bothered you.  I clearly meant most games your average console gamer wants is on consoles.
