Unless you can explain how the PS4 got from 19.4 units to 20.2 million in 14 days, it is EXTREMELY likely that the PS4 is just undertracked world wide and the likelihood that the OP is right is a lot higher than we realize. The only other fesible explination is that the Order and DQ Heros sold a metric shit ton of consoles. To me it seems that those games and taxes in the US might have helped, but its much more likely that we just have PS4 undertracked most weeks this year. An average of about 200k and a boost in the last 2 weeks is more believeable to me that explosive sales because of tax returns.
Also Feb NPD didn't disprove anything (mostly because we don't have it yet) but also because the US IS NOT THE WORLD.
