@OP: Yes, it is.

@aLkaLiNE: Consoles are toys that since they started including additional features can be other things too, while PCs and cars are other things that can be toys too.

 

Yeah I agree. I'm just saying that for myself, a car can be my big boy toy. I originally made that comparison on the first page anyway to demonstrate that the word toy is dynamic and can be applied to many many things that don't originally serve that purpose.

 

For another example, a stick. A stick can be a toy.
