If you're gonna stretch phone to include "computing device" (which can be many things not a phone) to help your argument, then I'm changing "house" to "property". Then my argument still applies haha |
I said computing device to include the computer. Both the phone and a personal computer perform the same function of playing Angry Birds, and are required to do so. A house or apartment is not necessary to have a party however. If you are arguing that natural resources, such as land can fit within the historical definition of toy, this seems invalid. All things must be built from others. If we include natural resources, then we must also say our cells in our body's are toys, because otherwise we wouldn't feel happy if we weren't living beings. Natural resources are not toys. For the same reason I wouldn't call oil a toy, or water a toy even though they can be combined with things to create recreational value. They are building blocks to things, not the actual combination of things. A sprinkler is the toy, water is a part of the toy. A sprinker, if only used to water grass, can also not be a toy. A pool is a toy, water is used to make a pool.
