I was 8...wait holy crap I was 8! The hoopla of the first and second Playstation was unrivaled. It's when the mainstream really saw gaming for the first time and phenomena that took the world by storm. I still remember all the craziness around PS1 but I've never seen a sequel of excitement as much as with PS2 launch.
