Most are cross-gen though. PS4 will win this year easily because most third party games will not be cross-gen. That wasn't the case in its first year. As for personal preference. If you like Nintendo games a lot you vote Wii U, if you don't then you vote PS4. As it should be. This year the PS4 will win though because of Uncharted 4, The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, BloodBorne, Persona 5, Ratchet & Clank, Tearaway Unfolded, etc. Nintendo is great, but only one company after all. One that has to support two consoles. |
Going this path, it really invalidates your original point: if it's subjective, no opinion on this thread is relevant.
However, why we shouldn't count cross-gen titles? They are games and they are on PS4. Compared to PS3, you will always get the best experience with the PS4 version (better graphics, better fps, etc). It's not like if you have the two consoles (like I do) you will have any reason to get the PS3 version.
