Assuming all the Targets across Canada drop their prices simutaniously, did anybody happen to pick up a PS4 at %25 off?
I was lucky enough to get a friend to snag me a PS4, which came to about $337 ($269 US). My location has about 11 in stock and were all gone in a matter of less than a day.
Their entire gaming section was %25 off everything. I wanted to pick some amiibos but all they had was Peach. Granted Target has some of the worst prices (hence why they're going away in Canada) so even the discounts didn't feel like a save at all.
BTW. I noticed my local walmart was selling their PS4 at $469, a $20 increase then before. Im sure they can price match it with bestbuy/futureshop/ebgames as they still advertise it at $449, but could this be a sign of our weak dollar starting to take into effect again? With an earlier thread posted by someone about our game prices will increase to $75 due to the weak dollar, that will mean our PS4 prices will jump to $500!
To all Canadians holding back on buying a system I think it's best to reconsider and buy them sooner. The only way to get it cheaper is to wait til they drop in price in the US. I'm sure any Canadians that bought their PS4 for $449 probably felt bad that they didn't pick it up at launch when it was $399 before our dollar dropped.
