I have enough romote controls. Just because you point there remote at the Tv doesnt mean it is any better. In fact I think that the design of the PS controller is perfect. It has very good ergonomics, enough buttons to allow for in-depth game play, and all of the buttons are well placed, as are the analog sticks. Sony needs to just keep there design the same...just as they did. Adding motion is cool, and now they are putting back rumble.....I was never a fan of any way....so they are where they should be on the controller front.

The PS3 controller is a remote control too, a much inferior controller to the Wiimote. It is also better than conventional remotes. Don't be surprised to see remotes for all devices hooked up to your TV to start using the same technology. It is a far superior way of navigating through countless menus.

Keeping things the same is a good way of staying behing the competition. One of the many reasons the PS3 is not selling.

By remote I meant the way you hold it. As for the PS3 not selling there are really only two. The main being the psrice, and the second being the game selection.  Also, the Wii mote bing superior to the PS3 remote is a matter of opinion for sure. As is mine for the PS3 remote being perfect. I cant stand the Wii mote. Its the reason I dont play the Wii anymore. There GC controller was much better

Only 2 reasons that the PS3 is not selling? Really?

1. Price
2. Game selection
3. Not HDTV ready out of the box, must purchase proper cables
4. $600, no game included
5. Huge
6. Consumes a lot of power
7. Generates a lot of heat
8. No rumble
9. Online presentation not as robust as Live
10. No games that outshines Xbox360 games, graphicswise

No, Wiimote being superior is not an opinion. It is fact:

Feature: PS3/WII

Analog Stick: Yes/Yes
D-Pad: Yes/Yes
Dual Analog Stick: Yes/No
Rumble: No/Yes
Speaker: No/Yes
Built in memory: No/Yes
Replacable batteries: No/Yes
On-screen pointer: No/Yes
3D motion capture: No/Yes
Dual hand 3D motion capture: No/Yes

The SIXAXIS is simply outclassed by the Wiimote.
