I dunnoooo... Keeping games a mystery only really works for established IPs. Something as obscure as Funky Barn needs all of the announcement and public attention it can get ahead of release.
Nintendo is really almost the only developer/publisher that can use secrecy and (somewhat) get away with it... Everyone else benefits from announcements and constant barrages of "info media" on upcoming games...
