yea.. but we all know the Wii is overpriced.. Nintendo could easily have sold it at $200 and made a profit.

When something sells much faster than they can provide supply for 8 months after its launch, it isn't overpriced -- it's underpriced. Nintendo has even said they should've launched at $300.

Gballzack, calm down. I'm on your side here, but you really go too far. I don't think anyone called you a fanboy in this thread, and I think we do all know that Sony v. Immersion was in regard to patented rumble technology.

Does everyone really think that a recall would be completely stupid? Blue3 was the only one to respond to that comment, and I'd like to hear from someone a bit... more articulate. Think about it this way: Nintendo provided free new wrist straps because some crazy people broke a few TVs, even though many fans didn't think it was a problem. A lot of Sony fans feel the lack of rumble isn't a problem, but many potential customers feel that it is.

It was suggested that Sony recall the current Sixaxis controllers and replace them with rumbling ones? To put it in a better way, I think that would be as weird as Microsoft recalling all the 20gig hard drives and replacing them with the better 120gig hard drives.
