I played the series in chronological order. So I never played the games as they released. The HD set was my first time playing MG. So it gave me a different perspective/problem with MGS2. Though that horrible backtracking...god sakes. I don't mine Raiden and the weird story etc. What makes me hate it; are the POS controls. Since I played MGS3 first. 2's controls were total garbage. And I couldn't understand why they where this badly thought up. If the control system was fixed to match MGS3's I would replay the game. I have no real issues with the game. Nor Raiden being the focus. But MGS3 is better.
