That's an interesting choice. I always went in there with a holy weapon or the Greatsword of Artorias and never had any issues with the skeletons, and there are few handy short cuts too. Tomb of the Giants on the other hand.... ugh...

See, I would say Anor Londo. I've cleared both the Catacombs and the Tomb of the Giants several times, and I die a lot every time, but I've never felt like the game was cheesing me. The two archers covering the spire in Anor Londo, though....

Dark Souls usually stuck to the "hard but fair," mantra. Usually.

That is the most unfair portion of the game, but it's not too bad if you have the rings that make you semi-invisible and the one that makes your movements silent (though the former can be difficult to come by) which allows you to set up with you to engage them one at a time with a bow, though I don't think you can get a heavy bow until anor londo itself so that makes it a bit more difficult on your first go around.  But aside from that part anor londo is one of the best areas in the game I think.

Worst section to me is blighttown, with all the poison darts, narrow scaffolding and horrendous framerate issues just makes that area a headache.

From "punch stuff to death" to "memorize this and get gud, or you'll never see level 4, bitches."

The problem with that is that it's levels like this that make a game irredeemably bad so there is no love to give it.

As far as contributing, stealth levels in Zelda games.
