That is absolutely correct. The reasoning (which you are fully aware is also in that thread but to bring it in here wouldn't have supported your very machiovelian argument) is simple. GoW has a PS2 fanbase to graduate to the PS3, whereas all Resistance fans already own a PS3. I also believe that whilst GeoW 2 will sell many many copies, it will not be a system seller, just like Resistance.
