It's a completely new game, there will be some of the same areas of the Vita version, but it's all designed to take advantage of the PS4's tech.

MM are masters of making the most of system im puts.

I'm so happy about this, Tearaway Unfolded is one of the games I'm most excited for this year, I can't wait!

"according to the developers it will be the same game" it says that in the article. But you should be excited the vita version was awesome

The article isn't right, this is from Media Molecule's own page:

http://www.mediamolecule.com/blog/article/announcing_tearaway_unfolded_for_playstation_4

"So we started jamming and experimenting, and the result is Tearaway Unfolded - an expanded retelling of the original game, adapted for PS4, and rebuilt from the ground up to use all the unique features of the Dualshock 4, and with a bigger prettier world running at 1080p and targeting 60fps to boot."

"Tearaway Unfolded will be a familiar story, but with new ways to play, new places to explore, and a world that looks really rather stunning on PS4!"

Same game implies a port of the original is what's coming to PS4, technically remake would be the most apt description. Maybe me saying "completely new" wasn't exactly right, but the developers haven't said it's the same game as the Vita title, they've actually gone out of their way in comments to make it clear it's much more than a port, even saying that a pure port would be impossible because the features of vita are entirely different from what PS4 has and PS4 is capable of so much more than that.
