Tales Of Xillia (1 & 2) are pretty underrated, Why?

They're niche?

I don't know. Ni No Kuni got a lot of spotlight and Bravely Default too. Those are pretty niche. not to mention Valkyria Chronicles (Which i like to believe it was because of VGchartz -when it first came out- we never stopped talking about it)

Ni No Kuni was a new IP (at least in the west so it got a bit of attention) Bravely Default released on 3ds at a time when there wasnt much out for that system and it seems to be a return to form for SE which excited more people. Valkyria Chronicles had a unique little spin to it i dont think was seen before release
