Of course you can worship anyway you want to, but there is a right way if you believe in a specific religion. You can't be a Muslim and not believe Muhammad was sent by Allah. You can't be a Christian who doesn't believe the Gospel. If there is a lying Christian who believes the Bible, then they are going to Hell according to the book they believe: Thus making them a hypocrite, therefore a false-christian according to their holy book.

That is highly controversial. There is not absolute set in stone rule to how to get to Heaven, Purgatory and Hell because nobody knows what happens in the afterlife.

If you believe the Bible, it says that all liars will go to the lake of fire. No matter how you put it; Whether temporal or eternal, literal or not -  a lying Christian would go there according to that book.
