It'll hit 1m in its LT as it won't be as limited in supply as the original and Nintendo as a whole is pushing the game this time round as opposed to NOE carrying the game through thick and thin. The original is at around 900k with most of those sales coming from the west so a bigger push in Japan can give the next game all it needs to break 1m.
