Its an art, and the thing about art, is that you don't really teach it. You either have it or you don't. You can hone and improve your art, fine tune it and polish it with practice if you already have it but if you don't... well you can only ever get as good as being a mimic. And as far as drawings go, if mimicking is all you're gonna do, well they have printers for that. In music, this is like the people that make "covers" of other peoples work.

as an example, look up John Butler-ocean on YouTube. listen to it, then take in that he created that musical price, then look up John Butler ocean cover.... you'll see some great stuff from others that are really good, but most of then are mimics.
