Let's look on the bright side.
The sooner Sega decides to quit console gaming, the sooner they'll lose money when they realize how unstable that market is. The sooner their shareholders convince them to focus only on those weird pinball slot machines, and ultimately the sooner they sell their licenses. Sell Sonic to Nintendo, since they already use him in a few titles, Shenmue to Yu Suziki, cause I don't think anyone else would really want it, Bayonetta to Platinum themselves or Nintendo.
