So do you mean that game developers used the same technique as animators to save space and money in using celloids or something dunno the term what animators used in doing animations?
HOW? I can see happening in counter strike, you can even change the backgrounds but I cant understand it in FFVII and Resident Evil series, seem its a part of the environments to me.

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out
