A Portal game on Wii U could be great with reworked puzzles for dual-screen play (1 player) or local coop on both screens.

The Puzzle Maker is simple enough to work on the GamePad.

And they also searched for people with Wii experience, Wii Remote + Nunchuk controls for one player in coop would be nice, too.

Gabe Newell said some positive things about the Wii U a few years ago and he likes Nintendo games.

Newell also said good things about the Wii, and yet they never ported a game to it, not even Half Life 2 which was on the original Xbox.
