Wow!" when I look at it as "Bunch of faffing about until I get to do stuff I want to". Origins was perfect to select place of interest and I was there, all this "fluff" so to speak adds no value to me and actually detracts from the game. |
It's an interesting concept to adopt the MMO style into an offline game. But the sense of progression in single player games usually comes from the story while in MMOs it's from leveling up and faffing about in an almost infinite number of quests that are designed to keep the player playing. It's really jarring to me I that I could, by choice, play for 10 hours without any progress in the story while I can do the companion side quests along with a few other side quests instead for the same rewards.
Just don't give in into temptation, be selective and trust me when I say It has the best characters Bioware ever written.
