Not much of a boost. Nintendo's main system sellers have been and gone. These are the secondary franchises that will have a modest effect. You should listen to Iwata. They need to find one fresh new game to change Wii U's fortunes, not further sequels in existing franchises.

zelda is a primary franchise, and will sell some systems. animal crossing not a primary franchise but a big seller for the casual market. Xenoblade, unknown, we'll have to wait and see the boost in japan first. But trust me, Zelda wii u is going to sell systems.

Bottom of the primary, top of the secondary, amounts to more or less the same thing. It's not on the same level as Mario. Animal crossing won't do much, it was a moderate success on the Wii for a first party franchise.

People put a lot of stock in Xenoblade Chronicles, and it may be the best game of those mentioned in the OP. But people should remember that on Wii Xenoblade Chronicles didn't even sell 1 million (according to VGC). So even if it sells similar or even better numbers to the Xenoblade Chronicles it won't push any hardware, other than somewhat of a push in Japan. It's about the only game on Wii U that I would like to play, but it's not enough to get me to buy a Wii U.
