They're not doing the port, but sonys third party resource team haven't exactly been amazing in the past either. Borderlands 2, Jak HD collection, Ratchet collection and GOW all ran like crap on the VIta.

We'll have to wait and see how they will pull off the port. It doesn't look too promising really :
