VGC is dominated by console gamers (for fairly obvious reasons), so there's nothing particularly surprising about the console versions being the center of discussion. Go to a PC focused forum and you will usually find the reverse ^^;
PC versions being poorly optimized is hardly seen as an acceptable norm here though. Most just don't discuss them at all.
