WiiU would be more successfull if it was named NES 6.

 

Actually if you look right when Nintendo make a hit they keep the name for the sucessor, but if it declines they change it.

 

NES success so we have SNES, but it loses market so they just keep Nintendo for the 64, another drop so they drop the company name and put GC, another fail and name changes to Wii, ubber success so they keep for WiiU. Gameboys had the base name untill decline so rename to DS, gangbuster so we got 3DS. I expect both platforms to change name next iteratione and if fused I seriously doubt they would go WiiDS or DSWii or 3DSWiiU or anything that remember the drop.
