going by your post, is it safe to say that if the problem is how much thought is required to play the games then we could instead say the problem is that Nintendo makes games for people that doesn't like to think? actually I think your onto something, being that the Nintendo franchises that requires the most amount of thought (Zelda/metroid) doesn't even make the top 32 of the all-time Nintendo games best selling list. Across every Nintendo platform.
