In Generation 6 we had Playstation 2 > Xbox > Gamecube... it shows people thought "2" was better then the others because it was a greater number.

In Generation 8 we have PS4 > X1 > WiiU... again 4>1> letter.

 

So it isn't brand loyalty, price, games or anything else, customer is just simple minded enough to think bigger number equal better system.


The Xbox 360 never won the 7th generation. As for this psychology...lol


X360 won 7th gen in USA... check the numbers.
