It's entirely possible to not be interested in Nintendo's consoles, but still be interested in their games. Besides, Nintendo's consoles don't have third party support which is why a lot of people skip them. That has nothing to do with their first party line up not being up to snuff.

Nintendo isn't Sega, so that last sentence is irrelevant.

But Vita proves nobody wants ports etc.

Of course it's possible to be interested in Nintendo's games, but if they're not wanting their console for them and have another company's console instead, it's clear that there are other games that interest them more than Nintendo's.

Nintendo's consoles don't have 3rd party support for a reason. And it's not just "they don't sell because Nintendo games are so much better".
