Well there you go, the big numbers sure sound great but is really meaningless by some sort of data backing it that you just said they never release.

Sure they do, but they lump them together with physical sales.  

Yeah, they never publish specific digital data, which is why tracking digital sales is impossible for sites like VGChartz.  You're just assuming doom and gloom, because you have nothing to back you up.  I'm simply assuming more middle of the road, since it's clear you're one end of a very large spectrum.
