You haven't played them it seems. MM: - You relive the same 3 days over and over again. At the end of the third day, the moon comes crashing down. - Focus on masks, especially transformation masks. - Focus on sidequests with a strict time schedule. Only 4 dungeons. SM3DW: - Captain Toad levels - Cat suit and cherry power ups. - 4 player multiplayer. Not something you find very often in a 3D platformer. Can you even find me one 3D platformer that does? - Doesn't run on the same engine as SM3DL at all. - Bigger and more expansive levels. - Introduces a lot of new gameplay elements with each new level. In one level for example you're playing with shadows. In another level you're fighting Cat Bowser while climbing a huge tower. Or you're playing through a Mario Kart inspired level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgjUiL6sKe4 And please, tell me one game that plays like the Prime series. |
You clearly don't know what inovation is (unless you are saying what is different from previous version).
none of what you said for zelda is inovation. They are just slight differences on game focus not gameplay since dungeons and masks were already done. The other part seems more like story element, some games already had multiple plays of the same level with each play being different because of previous actions.
Having different suits or powers isn't inovative unless it presents a mechanic never done in any other game.
Ratchet and Clank all 4 one is 4 player local and internet 3D platformer with tps elements. And 4 players co-op isn't inovative.
It seems that if Nintendo is doing for the first time you consider it inovative even if done elsewhere 10 years ago or you simply don't play a lot if they aren't made by ninty.
