How are review numbers ruining gaming? Metacritic scores and sales do not seem to correlate.

This and sales don't always show what the better games are.

The phrase "Better games" is subjective. And that's his point. And you don't get to define what is better for me.

Over the last year or so, sales have shown that more and more people don't care what Metacritic rate their games. Evolve, Dying Light and The Order are proof of that.

What the fuck are you rambling about? Where did I define what a good game is for someone? I thought it was obvious what I meant about sales not necessarily indicating a game's quality. There are many factors that go into a game selling well. Marketing, overall appeal to consumers, release date, etc. Yearly franchises like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed always sell well because they appeal to casual consumers and are heavily marketed. Does that mean they are good games? To some people yeah they are and others don't care for them at all. Games like Bayonetta and and the Souls games don't sell nearly as much as expected because they don't appeal to the general public. I fully expect The Order to sell well but that doesn't exclusively mean it is because it is a great game.

I personally haven't played The Order yet but I can see myself liking it since most of the problems people have with it I can usually ignore.
