Who keeps buying the PS2?

That is one of the main reasons.  Also, Since it has 4 versions of GH, lots of people already have 2 guitars for it and so on.  Another thing, it is known as the Dance Dance Revolution machine and some of the best mats are only made for the PS2 (and they cost lots of money).  And let's not forget about all the poor people.  The system costs $130 and many of its bests games go for $10-$20.

 

I hear you on that, in fact i haven't upgraded to the Wii yet because i just don't have the money, plus i think the gamestop factor is in play in this gen, lots of old used games for $10 and under is the right price for low income people such as myself. But when i heard that the ps3 40gig wouldn't support BC, i was like "Well not gonna get a PS3".  Also i would have to say that the lack of greatest hits software this gen (i.e. $20 new games) is a BIG factor. It's not all about hardware cost people.
