The onus for proof is on you. I never said the other two were innovating. No one really is, everything has been done before. You listed a bunch of games and the fact they were spinoffs and sequels to existing IPs negate them being innovative. Except Splatoon but even then thats a third person shooter with a little Portal thrown in. I think you need to look up what innovate means.

Captain Toad is a spin-off of a game released this gen you know? :) So that makes Super Mario 3D World innovative. Your logic makes no sense. According to you Majora's Mask wasn't innovative because it's a sequel to an existing ip? Makes no sense. Tell me one game that is like Majora's Mask.
