Sega Megadrive/Genesis was my first console. First game was 'GODS' but I was too young and had no idea what was going on, so Mum exchanged it for 'Donald Duck Quackshot' and it was so awesome, still one of my favs.
Next I got the PS1. Amazing, found my love for J-RPGS.
Next I got the dreamcast. Still my favourite console of all time.
Soon after I got a PS2 ... For some reason I couldn't get into it.
Soon after that I got the gamecube and I was a happy man, Dreamcast + Gamecube was all that I needed.
Then I was a Uni student and had little gaming time, even though I got a ps3/Wii/360.
Now I work and have other passions, but still own a WiiU and Xbone (Didn't plan on buying one but I loved the Sunset White console bundle so much)
