1983: played my first video game on my cousin's Atari 2600 1986: my family got the Atari 5200, the first game console in my house that I knew about. Turns out my parents had a Coleco Telstar Colormatic packed away in a closet and never mentioned it until after we got the 5200. 1987: Got the VCS Cartridge Adapter* for the 5200 to play 2600 games 1992: Got the NES. This was a life changing event. 1993: Got the Game Boy 1994: Got the SNES 1996: Got the N64 1997: Got the Virtual Boy 1998: Got the Sega Saturn 1999: Got the PlayStation 2001: Got the GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Dreamcast 2002: Got the Sega Genesis and PS2* 2003: Got the Sega Master System* and Xbox* 2005: Got the Intellivision* and Commodore 64* (no longer works) 2006: Got the Nintendo DS Lite 2007: Got the Wii, Xbox 360, and Atari Jaguar 2010: Got the PS3 and DSi XL 2011: Got the PSP 2012: Got the 3DS XL and Sega Game Gear* 2014: Got the Wii U and PC Engine w/ CD-ROM2
