Yeah, I still don't see your point. What is amazing about Zelda's sales isn't the sales of any individual game, it is the consistent sales over such a long period of time. New IPs come and go all the time, and quite often they sell a lot of units per game. I don't understand why that is surprising to anyone.

Because you were too busy nitpicking to see the point.

I was addressing the OP's criticism of the WiiU by saying that Nintendo games and consoles don't have the best numbers, despite the game quality.
Because new IP's (like uncharted, and I dunno, the 20 or so that have also outsold zelda) outsell many nintendo games, and this is not just currently, but historically accurate as well.

You can't say WiiU and it's games are of low quality and point to the sales of the console as evidence. Nintendo has a history of low support among the fanbase, outside of 1 or 2 mario franchises.
