Also, many times Solas hinted that the Elven gods were just powerful, but ordinary elves, not truly gods as in different beings from elves. I do think the Old Gods and the Elven pantheon are somehow connected. Possibly The Old Gods are The Forgotten Ones, and Fen'Harel being able to pass between both sides of the Elven pantheon might have something to do with the blackening of the Golden City (which Cory said was already black when the magisters got there.)
