Yeah that's what I just said and everyone before. The IPs are the same, because you don't need a new IP when you do the same things anyway. Yet most shooters that get released don't offer anything new, but people get the impression that they "innovate" because of the setting or graphics or whatever. You seem to take this way too personal when there is no need for that at all.


Not taking it personally, just annoys me when people are hypocritical about 'reskinning'.

Also frustrates me when people seperate graphics from gameplay, when they are more often than not related very closely.

Shooters have had more innovations in the last 10 years than just about any other genre. Id say the only genre to do more is the sports games (a perfect example of improved graphics improving gameplay)
