- 1080p: I think this is one of those silly metrics that gamers attach way more importance to these days than its actually worth. Yes, 1920x1080 is great and definitely better than 1600x900, but this game, like any "1080p" movie released in forever with an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 (which is basically 90%+ of all movies) has a resolution of 1920x800 (which is actually higher than 1600x900). Point is, it's looks perfect, just as tons of movies do; so why should it be knocked on simply because its not a full 1080p? And if this is about it's chosen aspect ratio, all I will say is that I admire and respect a developers right to express their artistic freedom in however they see fit. I do not want every game I play to look the same. I may be a minority, but I actually would like more games to adopt this wider aspect ratio.
- Again, another senseless metric. If given the choice I would prefer a game running at 60fps, but as I have said before and keep saying, a stable consistent 30fps is just as good for majority of the games out there. What's really strange, is that as long as a framerate is stable, majority of the gamers out there wouldn't be able to tell the difference or even care of it between 30fps/60fps unless looking at them side by side or being told specifically what to look for. I would take a locked 30fps over a 60fps that dips to 55/50/45fps every once in a while in a heartbeat. But again, this is just me.
- Artistic direction. Besides, do you really think "females" would have their hair flying all over the place in uniform and in a fight?
