All the Smash Bros. games, fun with lots of fan service, but overrated.
Lost Planet, ok game that sold like a great game.
DOA series, weakest major fighting franchise outside of Mortal Kombat.
Resistance and Uncharted, good games but they are overrated.
Perfect Dark series, Goldeneye was better.
Banjo Kazooie series.
Killer Instinct, makes Mortal Kombat look good.

I've got to disagree on Sunshine, mostly on the basis that lots of people don't actually seem to like it that much. How then is it overrated? You have to go back to SMB2 (or even SMB2j!) to find another main-series Mario game people think as little of.
Also, IMO the first Perfect Dark was the shit. It was definitely superior to Goldeneye.
No comment on the rest, except to say that apparently Killer Instinct isn't/wasn't a major fighting franchise? |
If Sunshine is bad, then every other Mario game made is bad.
It's certainly a lot less linear than Galaxy, which is a good thing in my book.
