I think it's been generally good so far. Plenty of good games to play. You can't expect a 95+ AAA metascore game to come out every year.
Don't bother wasting your time complaining about remasters. If you don't want to play them, don't buy them. However some people havn't played the games before, or liked them so much that they would love to play through them again on another console.
As for overhyped games, and Ubisoft seems to be a big culprit here, they aren't bad games, but not the 10/10 games that they were made out to be, for sure.
I completely agree with you about broken games,it's just not good enough, and I would encourage you not to buy those broken games (I havn't bought unity yet because its still not great, and I will get it second hand so I am not supporting them).
I would also like to add my disdain of free to play mechanics in full price games. I get a bit sad when I see season passes that cost just as much as the main game, in game credit/xp boosts also.
