Nope, they made no mistake.

Are you going to walk up to an artist and say they should not be painting, they should be sculpting instead.

Its their artistic vision and freedom, and if you dont like it, there are plenty of games to choose from.

if you prefer non cinematic game, its your decision to not buy the game as it is theirs to walk that path. not every piece in gaming is liked by everyone, So there are may games devs make and many artistic choices devs make to have a game fit everyone. So I have no doubt you will find a game that caters to your likings eventually. And hopefully its your opinion and just not the mimicry of an opinion of some reviewer.

So having said that,by that definition, that means there is no such thing as a ''bad'' game since games are all developers ''artistic vsions and freedoms''

bad or good is highly subjective. that being said, the mechanics of a game can be bad and there is no way around it. Or a story can be bad, but even that is highly subjective. But yes, in my opinion there is no bad games unless its broken and does not work, like Unity. As far as the mechanics of a game goes, I dont hate on games, if I am not used to it, I adapt. If there is a new approach to the gaming, I am patient and open my mind to new things.

So unless its broken, I will try to like it and if I dont like it, it simply means that this game was not meant for me. and will try to search for a game I like.
