I disagree with this. Wii Sports is still fun almost 2 years later and Wii play is good for being a tech demo/excuse to buy another controller.

The qualifier 'tech dem/excuse to get another Wiimote' kinda serves my argument.

 

Not really seeing as both have scores in the 6-7 range. Their impact is huge but thats not because of being overrated. Wii Sports is actually very fun for such a simple game andWii Play is just a tech demo with a controller, thus why it sells so much.
