A million units is probably a reasonable amount for the developers to make a return on their investment, assuming the game had a similar budget to Uncharted 2-3.

All the hate is ridiculous, it has no baring on whether the game will get a sequel, if the title sells enough, creates an install base and Ready at Dawn has more stories to tell then they'll probably make sequels.
Ru Weerasuriya has said that the whole universe for this game has been fleshed out, in order to write the story for this game Ready at Dawn had to create a full history for the story and this was a key moment in The Order's tale.
.
There's tonnes that RAD can add to the next game, obviously multiplayer and co-op are big ones, maybe make the next game more open world like Uncharted 4 is aiming for, so bigger sandbox, less hand-holding from the developers.

If the QTE is too intrusive then pull back on it, but having it there allows players to change the outcome of cut scenes and feel like your really contributing to the game's story which can make for a really great addition.
QTEs don't have to be the bane of gaming, they can add gameplay to a part of a game that would otherwise just have you sitting back and waiting for the cut scene to end.

Anyway The Order looks like it has a very rich and detailed world that can be an excellent addition to Sony's exclusive line-up.
Sales wise I think it can easily sell 4 million units lifetime, but 2 million is probably plenty for Sony and Ready at Dawn to green light a sequel.
