Even if all those copies were sold at full price, that's probably not even going to be a break-even result. For a sequel to get greenlit, 2m minimum is absolutely required, with the majority of those copies sold at full price. If The Order 1886 struggles in retail, Sony won't have much of a reason to give Ready at Dawn another project; and other publishers won't knock on the door of a developer that just finished a commercial failure. |
