I don't think my AMD GPU will support DX 12, but it does support Mantle, which is similar in performance gains. As for ddr4, it will be in my next build 3-4 years from now, for now I am sticking to a Z97 which doesn't support DDR4. Overall I'm content with PS4/One graphics at 1080p/60fps for the next 5 years. 

Which gpu do you have since dx 12 might be supported on your gpu not all features but few of them might make their way to your gpu if it is 1-2year old.
