It's a shame TO:1886 wasn't better refined in other areas, because on a technical level it's an absolute marvel. I'll probably buy it in a few weeks purely to stare at pretty stuff :p (though i'm still quite interested in the story too, just not enough to warrant a full price purchase).

I don't think the PS4 has much trouble with games below 1080p no matter how well the rest of the assets looks. The most drops you will find in 1080p games where they're pushing both visuals and pixels.

Yeah, but i was really expecting them to pull resources away from frame-rate stability as well as the resolution (AA aside). Think of all the extra particle effects they could have had at 24fps! :p
