Interesting that a few reviewers are quite looking forward to a sequel. But for a game to get a sequel it needs to sell well enough on its own, and for a game to sell well it typically needs to review well. But the reviewers are, perhaps rightly, not giving it sufficiently positive reviews for it to be assured of selling well. So the reviewers who are giving it mediocre scores but hoping for a sequel are doing all they can to ensure there is no sequel.

I liked Jim Sterlings review, he mentioned several times that he wants to see what happens next, but if the meta is around the score he gave it (6.5/10) he probably won't get to see his wish fulfilled. Very much a wasted opportunity, I suppose if this is how it turns out.

Metacritic has 22 reviews up and it's on 63.
