Advice on builing a PC for a specific type of games?

Or spend less on a GPU and get something like the GTX 960 that just came out and spend extra on the MOBO.  Then in a year or two you can get another GTX 960 and run in SLI. 

That's kinda what I was thinking... maybe save some money on the GPU and stuff and buy it later if I decide to switch to PC gaming from consoles...
